Equipment / Testing

Drais - High Performance Homogenizer

High rotation homogenizer used to quickly disperse and incorporate fillers, additives and pigments in various polymers.

Hydraulic press

Intended for the formation of the molten mass in the drais according to the mold used.

injector

For simulation of injection and addition of masterbatches and additives and colors.

Multifilament Extruder

For the development and quality control of masterbatches, intended for applications in the textile area, such as multifilaments and nonwovens.

Balloon Extruder

It is used for the production of polyethylene and polypropylene films with color addition and coverage evaluation. In quality control it is used to validate the dispersion of the masterbatch in the polymer.

Filter Test

Used for the evaluation of the dispersion of two pigments through the result of FPV, following international standards such as DIN/EN13900-5

Calender

For the process of forming materials simulating the mixing and dispersion of resins with pigments, fillers and additives in general. Used in the quality control of PVC or EVA.

Plastometer

To determine melt index under controlled pressure and temperature conditions.

Durometer

Measures the hardness of pure polymers or blends on the Shore A and D scale.

Reflectance Spectrophotometer

Used to measure color in quality control and color development.

Micrometer

For the measurement of low thicknesses, used in the quality control of packages.

Chapel of Exhaustion

It acts as a physical barrier between chemical reactions and the laboratory environment, used in tests that include chemical products or the burning of some material.

Moisture Analyzer

For infrared moisture analysis of pelleted or powdered materials.

Surface Resistivity Meter

Used to measure surface resistivity of surfaces between 10^5 and 10^12, and classify the material as insulating, dissipative or conductive.

IZOD and Charpy impact machine

To measure the amount of energy absorbed in the deformation and rupture of a specimen, allowing to select the best materials and compositions for greater quality and safety in its use.

Universal machine with COF measuring device

For measuring tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, yield stress, stress at break, yield strain, strain at break, and frictional force, meeting the requirements of ASTM D1894.

FTIR

Analytical method used to understand the chemical groupings present in individual molecules and in mixtures. Used to obtain qualitative and semi-quantitative information on components of a sample.

Trinocular stereomicroscope

With up to 45X zoom, lighting (transmitted and reflected) and light intensity control, it is possible to produce clear images for analysis of small imperfections in any type of part.

QUV-A

Destined to reproduce the damage that can occur in plastic parts in months or even years exposed to the weather, such as: ultraviolet radiation, humidity and heat. To validate the UV stabilization of Anti UV additives.

Xenoteste 220+

XENOTESTE 220+, un dispositivo de alta tecnología utilizado para realizar de ensayos de resistencia a la intemperie y a la luz de piezas plásticas en racks giratorio.
